Roisín O’Donnell’s debut story collection Wild Quiet was published by New Island Books in 2016. Her short stories have been widely published and feature in landmark anthologies The Long Gaze Back and The Glass Shore. In 2018 she won an Irish Book Award when her story How to Build a Space Rocket was voted Short Story of the Year. In 2020 she was awarded a Literature Bursary Award from the Arts Council of Ireland to complete her debut novel. Her story 'Present Perfect' features in Spoken Stories; a specially commissioned series on RTÉ Radio One, commencing in spring 2021.
